For those into modern, eclectic art and design, the iconic Guggenheim and MoMA exhibits never fail to impress. With tourists, students, and art aficionados alike all wanting a peak, these more popular museums see heavy traffic. And, a certified city girl tip is to keep an eye out for discounts! That student ID you never thought you would use again is making a comeback.

New York Fashion Week. Street interviews. Model walk. I’m gagged! Lower Manhattan will make your fashion dreams come true, making it the perfect place to pick up some one of a kind pieces! Head to Chinatown for one of kind vintage jewelry that will have you drooling. Wander SoHo for dreamy cobblestone streets and the freshest shops. And, crawl the East Village for curated vintage clothing that will give you runway worthy outfits! Lower Manhattan is home to some of the best eats in the City, so don’t forget to take a break from all the shopping and enjoy a meal.

For a classic New York City day, you can’t go wrong by starting off your day at a local cafe or diner! There’s nothing better than a small cafe to make you feel like an NYU student. Some of my favorite spots are
Bubby’s (Tribeca) – the pancakes here are to die for! Be sure to book a reservation, this place fills up quick!
Court Square Diner (Long Island City) – a classic diner open since 1946!
Carnegie Diner and Cafe (Manhattan) – convenient locations with classic American eats! Celebrating? Let them know for a special treat!

Now, you can’t leave New York city without viewing the skyline sparkling at night! The nightlife scene in the city is the perfect mix of chill aesthetics and rowdy. The rooftop bars and restaurants overlooking iconic landmarks remain unmatched as on the THE must-dos on any New York City itinerary. There’s nothing better than sipping a craft cocktail as the city lights twinkle and your best girlfriends spill the hottest goss. For the realest city girls out there wondering where the New York City girls party, a rooftop bar is only the beginning. Put your sexiest mini dress and heels on, snatch your face, gloss your lips, and hit up NYC’s most popular clubs like Little Sister, Nebula and Harbor for a night to remember (or not!).
